Notes |
Hatch was also an amazing provider, catching fish for his Tribe and keeping them healthy so that they can think straight and perform in challenges. He is still known as one of the best providers of all time, second to maybe Ozzy (see: Survivor: Cook Islands) |
Though Mike didn't last to the Merge, due to some unfortunate circumstances, he was the best and really only provider. While Keith and Jerri cooked food, Mike was the only person in the game to catch real food, actually catching a pig. |
Tom was definitely a provider for his Tribe, doing the bulk of the work around camp, thanks to his history as a farmer, as well as helping the Tribe get food and water on a daily basis. |
A lot of the big "Providers" were out early and since Kathy had more time to build up a "provider" role by getting food and working around camp, she wins. |
As a good swimmer, Helen was constantly making the long boat trips and even swimming, when they lost their boat, to go collect water, which makes her a huge provider. |
Matthew von Ertfelda |
Matthew was definitely the biggest provider of the season. He didn't necessarily go out and catch food every day but he was the hardest worker, so hard that he became severely dehydrated on several occasions and scared his Tribemates with his deranged behavior. |
Rupert is arguably one of the most successful fisherman and providers in the history of Survivor, along with names like Richard Hatch and Ozzy Lusth. |
For the second season in a row, Rupert was the "worker bee". Rupert worked the most, along with Tom, around camp while the younger contestants sat around and did nothing. However, unlike Tom, Rupert caught many fish for the Tribe and kept them fed and happy for a long time. |
Though she was on the outs of the women's alliance from the start, Twila worked harder than anybody around camp. |
Tom was the biggest provider, as he caught food all of the time for his Tribe, including small sharks. He also worked really hard around camp. |
Bobby Jon Drinkard |
Though he was voted out rather early, Bobby Jon still worked harder than anybody else, even causing himself severe illness during the first few days because of dehydration. |
Bruce Kanegai |
Bruce had a lot of great ideas and knowledge, about how to clean water without boiling and doing other cool tricks to help his Tribe get along. He was also one of the hardest workers in the game. |
Ozzy is probably the most successful fisherman in the history of Survivor. Thanks to his Aquaman-esque aptitude in the water, he could bring in 15 fish at once. No Tribe Ozzy has been on has been starving, because Ozzy sees to it that they are well fed on a daily basis. |
From the beginning, Yau Man proved that he had what it takes to survive in Fiji. He definitely worked the most during the season. |
James is always the hardest working person on his Tribe. He's been called "superman" at times because of his super human ability to just work around camp constantly. |
Even though both were knocked out rather early, they were still the biggest workers and providers for their Tribes throughout the game. |
Bob immediately stuck out as a provider, doing a ton of work around camp and showing his capabilities when it comes to taking care of his Tribe. |
J.T. grew up on a farm, so of course, he was an incredible work horse, doing more than his fair share around camp. |
Shambo Waters |
Shambo worked the hardest around camp in both the original Galu and the Merged Tribe, though she never got much respect for it. |
For the third time, Rupert wins this award, as he was once again a huge provider for his Tribe when it came to work load and catching food. |
Jane was the only person who really caught fish and she was the first person to start a fire, which she did without flint, something that is rarely done. |
Even though Phillip was one of the more hated players in the game, he definitely worked the hardest around camp. |
Ozzy wins for the third time because he of course feeds his Tribe, as well, in this case, everyone who lived with him on Redemption Island. |
Kat may have been one of the youngest and the dumbest of dumb blondes, but surprisingly, she was the only one of the Final Seven that made fire every night. |
Penner was his Tribes sole source of food for a long time, until his untimely elimination. |
Erik was always working around camp and climbing coconut trees to provide for his family, though this is probably what caused Erik to pass out and have to be evacuated in the Final Five. |
Up until his elimination, Caleb was arguably the hardest worker around camp, gaining him a lot of respect from his peers. |
Woo worked hardest around camp, a testament to being on the "Brawn" Tribe. |
Being a southern fireman, Keith always worked really hard around camp and got into arguments with those who didn't, like Missy and Baylor. |
In typical "Blue Collar" fashion, Mike was one of the hardest workers during this season and helped provide food at times. |
Joe was shown from the beginning to be an excellent provider, making things for his Tribe and catching food like a true native. |
Despite stopping his Tribe from eating Mark the chicken, Tai provided for his Tribe exponentially as he knew how to live in that environment. |
Ken McNickle |
Ken was well versed in living on the land when they got to the island, so immediately stepped into and excelled at the provider roll. |
Since Ozzy was voted out quickly after the Merge, Brad stepped into the provider role, did the majority of the work around camp and even went fishing. |
JP Hilsabeck |
Though he didn't do much socially or strategically during the game, JP was a work-horse who always provided for his Tribe. |
Sebastian Noel |
Sebastian, nicknamed "Sea Bass", was a fisherman, so he was always busy catching all types of sea food for his Tribe and kept them fed. |
John Hennigan |
John did the majority of the fishing as portrayed on camera and was a big guy, so he did a lot of work around camp. |
Once again, Joe was the backbone of his Tribes, allowing them to win every single Immunity Challenge before the Merge. |
Janet was the elder of the Tribe throughout the game, all the way until the Finale, and she provided for her Tribe like a mother with her insane ability to make fire, which is ultimately what got her voted out. |
Denise has always had a "motherly" attitude when playing Survivor, and made some waves in the game when she voted out Sandra all by herself. However, it was also clear that she provided for her Tribe and her alliance. |
