Dreamz started on the Moto tribe which won all the challenges before the Tribal Switch. Despite the winning streak, Dreamz's tribe mate Gary Stritesky quit on Day 10, and on Day 11 Moto chose to give up immunity and go to Tribal Council, in order to keep their luxurious camp. At Tribal Council, Dreamz joined the majority in voting out Liliana Gomez. At the Tribal Switch, Dreamz was swapped to Ravu. Ravu lost four of the last five challenges, but Dreamz was kept safe until the Merge.
At the merge, Dreamz was out on team with Mookie Lee, Michelle Yi, Stacy Kimball, and Alex Angarita. Dreamz's team lost. At Tribal Council, Dreamz voted against Michelle and she was voted out in a 3-2 vote. After Tribal Council, Mookie was angry at Dreamz for voting against Michelle and believed he screwed them over. Cassandra Franklin won the first individual Reward Challenge, and chose to share it with Yau Man Chan and Dreamz. At the trip, Cassandra and Yau-Man talked to Dreamz about joining the Syndicate Alliance. Yau-Man won the first Immunity Challenge. Back at camp, Dreamz's allies Mookie, Alex, and Edgardo Rivera told Dreamz that they have the Hidden Immunity Idol, but this caused him to waiver because they kept this secret from him. Dreamz jumped sides and told Cassandra, Earl, and Yau-Man that Mookie had found an idol. At Tribal Council, Dreamz voted against Mookie but the others members of the Syndicate Alliance voted against Edgardo, blindsiding him. After Tribal Council, he was confronted by Mookie and Alex, but he tried to cover it up.
Dreamz then aided the alliance in voting out Mookie and Alex at the next two Tribal Councils. At the final six, Yau-Man won a new truck, but then dealt the truck to Dreamz in exchange for individual immunity should Dreamz win it at a prospective final four. After Dreamz returned from the trip, he plotted with Cassandra and Stacy to vote out Yau-Man after realizing what Yau-Man's strategy was regarding giving him the truck, also noting that the deal wouldn't be broken if he voted out Yau-Man before the final four. He along with Cassandra, Boo Bernis, and Stacy voted for Yau-Man, but he played his idol and blindsided Stacy.
Yau-Man then won immunity at the final five, thwarting Dreamz plan of getting rid of him again. At Tribal Council, Boo was unanimously voted out, but Dreamz received a vote from Boo. Dreamz won the Final Immunity Challenge. He was conflicted or whether to honor the deal or not, but at Tribal Council Dreamz decided to go back on his word, so Yau-Man was unanimously voted out.
At the Final Tribal Council, Dreamz received heavy criticism from the Jury: Mookie criticized him for spilling the beans about his idol, Alex berated him for lying cheating and backstabbing, Lisi Linares asked him how many zeros were in a million (which Dreamz answered correctly, much to Lisi's shock), and Boo chastised him for breaking his word on Yau-Man and promising on God that he would honor the deal. Ultimately Dreamz became the co-runner-up of the season along with Cassandra, losing to Earl in a unanimous 9-0-0 vote.

Trivia
- Dreamz is the last victim of the infamous Survivor Car Curse. Even though Dreamz did not win the Reward Challenge, Yau Man Chan gave Dreamz the 2008 Ford Super Duty truck that he won. In return, Yau-Man asked Dreamz to give him the final four Individual Immunity Necklace should he win it. The curse would affect both men as Yau-Man finished 4th and Dreamz was the joint runner-up of Survivor: Fiji.
- By virtue of winning the Final Immunity Challenge in Fiji, Dreamz is the first African-American male to make it to Day 39 and the Final Tribal Council.
- Dreamz is the first male contestant to receive no jury votes at the Final Tribal Council.
- Dreamz, along with Cassandra Franklin, were the first pair of castaways to be tied in second place. They would be followed by Michael Skupin and Lisa Whelchel from Survivor: Philippines, Dawn Meehan and Sherri Biethman from Survivor: Caramoan, Carolyn Rivera and Will Sims II from Survivor: Worlds Apart, Spencer Bledsoe and Tasha Fox from Survivor: Cambodia, and Hannah Shapiro and Ken McNickle from Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen x.
- By virtue of being both runners-up, both Dreamz and Cassandra were each awarded $100,000.
